Fantastic Day

My son and I had a fantastic day in the water with Captain Jorge and his firdt mste Emi. I think it took under 5 min to get our first fish in the boat. Captain Jorge had us on some schools of bonito very quickly in a spot where we were the only ones in that tack. I heard some of the other boats on the radio asking where the bonito were. We even had a triple header and maaged to land all three. We then moved on to trying bait on the bottom for snapper and running live bait for jacks and roosters. We had a couple bites but nothing stayed on unfortunately. Captain Jorge and Emi were great to hang out with for the day. Always checking if i needed a cereza or my son needed anything to eat or drink. They made an absolutely fantastic ceviche on board with one if the bonito while we drifted for a bit with the live bait out. The boat has a bluetooth sound system ao you can have music playing as you are running out and fishing if you like. Captain Jorge had a mix on that I was playing all the bangers you heard at clubs in the late 90s and early 2000s. It was great. I’m planning a return trip for Oct/Nov when more of the larger game fish are running and will be booking a full day with Captain Jorge on the Valeria 1.

    Highlight of our trip!

    Half Day Trip Fishing • 2 adults

    We had the best time out fishing with Jorge and his crew. Extremely hospitable guys who made sure we had a lot of fun and caught fish. It was not the season to target Marlin, Mahi Mahi or Tuna, but we were still able to get out and catch some Rooster and Jack fish. They made sashimi fresh on the boat for us to enjoy and it was so delicious! Jorge asked where we were staying and directed us to the closest pier to board his boat. Communication and instructions were clear and easy to follow to meet up. They provided water, juice and sashimi to make sure we were hydrated and not hungry. Couldn’t be happier with the trip and highly recommend Jorge and Ainara Valeria to anyone looking to fish while in Puerto Vallarta. You won’t regret it!

    Awesome day, great captain and crew

    Full Day Trip <Off Shore> • 2 adults

    Captain Jorge made it an awesome day for both my wife and I. Very nice very comfortable boat that they keep exceptionally clean. We upgraded our trip the morning of because capatain said he knew where the fish were but we need more time to get there. Best decision we made because our day ended up excellent with 3 yellowfin tuna and a trophy sail fish. Captain is an extrmely knowledge angler and has been fishing the area for 35 years. The deckhands Danny and Brian also made the trip very enjoyable taking pictures of us, making conversation, always making sure we were comfortable and making us delicious yellowfin ceveche at the end of that day. Captain and his guys truly are masters of their craft and do not stop working to make your day unforgettable.

    Excelente Experiencia!

    La atención de Jorge desde el momento que hicimos la reservación fue muy grata, ya que siempre estuvo en contacto con dudas y aclaraciones a pesar de que contratamos con dos días de anticipación apenas. Nunca habíamos salido en un iaje de pesca y estando en la embarcación, Jorge nos aclaró todas las dudas y buscando que pudieramos lograr pescar algo. Nos llevamos un excelente recuerdo mi familia y yo, ya que para ser nuestra primera vez en la pesca, nos llevamos dos Jureles de mas de 10 kilos (uno nos lo comimos y el otro lo regresamos). Una tarde redonda, sin duda volveríamos con Jorge y el Ainara Valeria.

    Sailfish master

    Captian Jorge and crew are knowledgeable and quick to make asjustments. After booking, they asked what type of fishing we would like to do. My son, who is 8 years old, wanted to go “big fish” fishing. I explained this to Jorge and he came up with a plan. On the day of, Jorge explained that with the recent weather and rain (hurricane Genevieve) the further we went out, the better, so we can find the clean water. At that point we made the decision to go from a 6 hr trip to an 8 hr trip. That recommendation and decision did not disappoint! We caught 2 monster sailfish, both almost 8 ft long. Numerous skip jack tuna (for bait), and a Mahi-Mahi. The reat of the fleet out there that day did not have the luck we did. This is a testament to the knowledge and preprration to Captain Jorge. Thanks to him and his team, my son and i will have this memore for a lifetime. That is the best part for me.

    STELLAR fishing trip!

    6 hour trip — combo • 2 adults

    If you’re looking for excellent guidance, stunning vistas, and a great all around fishing experience, book Valeria with Captain Jorge! We caught a beatiful Jack-fish that made for an entertaining reel-in and one heck of a fighting fish. Good music made for an epic soundtrack for the day. We fished, we enjoyed the water access only Amapas beach and even snorkled at Los Arcos. There is no better way to enjoy the Bay of Banderas than with Captain Jorge! We will be back and 100%, no questions, we’ll be on Valeria with Cap’t Jorge. Excellent value, stupendous congeniality, and an experience you should not pass up.
