We had a great time fishing with Captain Scott, but it didn’t start off that way, at least in the captain’s eyes. He in inadvertently left his tackle box on the hood of the truck at home.  More on that later.  We pulled up to one of his Flounder spots because we wanted to learn how to catch them.  He was frantically looking on his boat for the tackle box but it was nowhere to be found.  I told him that was fine we’ll go with whatever gear he had, he promised to take us out on another trip free of charge.  Then it started, we caught flounder after flounder, and crabs too and had a blast.  He did find his box after a brief call home to his loving wife who volunteered to bring it out to us.  I told him that was fishing for you, it’s not about reeling in fish all day long, it’s about the experience.  Captain Scott made our day with the kids catching plenty of fish and having a great story to share.  Those are the trips you remember.  Captain Scott even took the fish home a filleted them and then delivered them to us.  What a wonderful day on the water that none of us will ever forget.  He’s a keeper in our book!

Took my son for his first in shore trip at 6 years old and caught a grand slam! He caught a beautiful red fish, trout,
and flounder! We will definitely be back!

Such a fun experience! We did a 2hr trip and caught a shark and a monster bull red fish. Scott was grear!

We had a great time this morning. Scott was patient, pleasant and did the hardest part of the job - he put us on fish!! He has a great, comfortable boat and took us to a couple of nice spots to fish. We’ll be looking to book with Scott again next time we’re in town.

Amazing time with Scott.  Took my wife and 3 year old son who have never been on a charter before.  Scott made them feel comfortable and we weren’t without action.
In 2 hours, we caught 3 monster redfish.  I expected them to be 30 inches at best, but was shocked at 30–40-pound fish we were pulling in.  Scott knew where to go how to do it.  Thanks Scott- I’ll be booking every time I visit Isle of Palms.
