We had an absolutely amazing trip with captain James. Immediately super friendly, accomodating, and had a great sense of humor. We caught a ton of different species, red grouper, scamp grouper, gag grouper, strawberry grouper, red snapper, vermillion snapper, white snapper, as well as even catching a stray shark. Came home with a cooler full of fish, the trip was a 10/10 for us. Will 100% be fishing with Captain James again very soon.

James adjusted to conditions and we still killed it. He was great with my 13 year old son.  Caught spanish mackeral (while emersed in dolphins-actually had dolphins stealing our mackerel off yhe hook), sheep head (my son caught a very big one), red grouper, trigger fish (in the bay!), squirrel fish, sailors choice, and a few others.  Military base shut down the area he normally fishes because of raised security measures, but he adjusted well and had us on the fish. Captain James was fantastic. He was super laid back and put us on fish at the first cast. We caught at least 4 different species of fish including red snapper, red grouper, redfish, scamp grouper, and beeliner. It was a good day of fishing, especially for a half day! We ended our trip by taking a grouper filet to Capt Max’s Bar and Grill to fry it up for us, and it was delicious!

JD was a great guide. Put us on the fish and it was one of the best charters I have been on. Wife landed her PB black drum and throughly enjoyed the trip. The boat is perfect for 2-4 passenger. All equipement worked as it should and is in great condition. Plenty of live bait. If you find youraelf wanting to fish in the Panama City/Panama City Beach/30A area hit JD up.
