We knew conditions and timing were not ideal, but Captain Steve worked diligently to see that we all had the opportunity to battle a nice fish and landed five. Nobody else was catching much, and the water temperatures were not in our favor, but he took us out to 250+ feet of water and worked to find every fish. Capt. Steve made the whole trip fun. Fishing was slow at times, but he did his best to keep my grandchildren involved and happy.

you could not ask for a better captain than our captain Steve. He is knowledgeable, he is competent and he has been fishing the waters of Lake Michigan for 37 years. We had a great trip. We caught all the fish that we wanted and we will book with Captain Steve on our next trip.

Captain Steve said it was a slow day, but he did everything he could to make sure we caught some fish. In the end, we left with 14—mostly Coho salmon—and even landed a King salmon. It was a great time, and Captain Steve was incredibly friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great fishing trip.
