  good communication and super good guides really did a great job of trying to accommodate our wishes. From what we heard, Fishing wasn’t great for anyone in the area which is no fault of the guide but they knew what was biting and where the action was. We landed a couple nice Baracuda’s and a medium size grouper so not the trophies we were hoping for but we didn’t get skunked either! we had nice fresh bait caught in a net that morning and as fast as a hook was brought up our guide was already there baiting it up. it was a great time and would use these boys again!

  Great time on Balihoo Boat!

  4 Hour Trip on September 27, 2026 • 2 adults

  We went out today (late September) and had a great time with Captain Balta and Willy. They told us that fishing has been slow but had a game plan to help us catch some fish. Started out the morning right off the bat with a nice barracuda! My wife got sea sick and they took us to a beach to help for a bit. Got right back on the water and caught two more barracuda! Captain Balta cut us some filet’s to take home. It was a great relaxing time!

  4 Hour Trip on April 22, 2026 • 4 adults • 1 child

  my two boys and myself both caught fish. Mahi Mahi were the fish of the day. I cought a five ft long Mahi Mahi and the boys caught some two and a half footers. I got a couple blisters from reeling in the fish but no complaints here. We did the 4 hr 730am excursion. Well worth it and would recommend. captain and crew were amazing, and spoke English well and communication was easy. They new where to find the fish, but fishing is fishing and won't be the same everytime. I would do another trip with them for sure next time we are down here in Playa del Carmen

  Best Fishing Trip

  4 Hour Trip - 12:30 PM on April 7, 2026 • 3 adults • 1 child

  We were blessed with excellent weather and calm seas, but the best part was our amazing, friendly, bilingual crew, led by captain Baltha and first mate Willie, who know the waters around Playa del Carmen so well. Not only did we catch some beautiful Mahi Mahi and Tuna, we swam in the warm waters of a secluded beach and the best part was the restaurant where we docked, which cooked our catch to perfection. We had our seven year old and one year old sons with us and had a blast. Our seven year old said it was the best food of his life, mostly because he caught it!

  Crew were great and a lot of help, they took us too a few different spots targeting different species of fish. We caught 2 barracuda & 1 Spanish mackerel … got bit off by a monster mahi 😭 lol Took us too a beautiful spot to snorkel which we seen so many fish , a huge friendly stingray and 2 smaller ones too, they really didn’t disappoint. I don’t think you’ll get a better worth of money for what you pay with these guys 100% recommend, especially if you’re looking to do a bit of both (fishing & snorkelling) .
