We were a party of 4 from the uk and booked a half day trip. Jim was very knowledgeable and friendly. Put us on the fish straight away and we came away with 13 keepers, 4 different species, 3 in Jim’s top 5! Jim expertly filleted our catch and recommended we take them to the Anchor Inn. They prepared an absolutely amazing meal for us within 40 minutes of arrival, cooking the fish 3 different ways. It was the perfect end to the trip. Fish from sea to table in under 5hrs.

Had an absolutely fantastic day out with Jim’s Fishing Charters in Airlie Beach. The service was great from start to finish, and Jim himself was a top bloke — friendly, helpful, and clearly knows his stuff. The whole experience was smooth, fun, and honestly one of the best days out on the water we’ve had. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great fishing trip and an all-round awesome day! 🎣🌤️
