We were 3 adults and a 9 year old boy who really wanted to catch a fish. The boat was bigger than we expected. The crew seemed most interested in big fish, Marlin, at first. That’s Understandable. The boat was plenty big to accommodate our group. Thunderstorms rolled in halfway through our trip, but that didn’t stop David & Tara from working their tails off to put us on fish. They definitely have a passion for chasing fish. We caught 1 Mahi Mahi during our trip. David filleted the fish for us, and we had enough meat for several family dinners. I would fish with these two again given the opportunity. Thank you for all your hard work 👊

Me and best mate had a blast on silky!, Dave and Clayton are great for chats & laughs, knowledgeable and well set up. Boat is clean and had all that we needed It was not our day for any large catchs(such is the nature of fishing) but we pulled in 2x skipjack (1 for live bait the other for poke, both good sizes and fun to pull in on lighter gear) - the boys called other captains/friends to ask if they had any hits and did all they could to get us a hookup but that’s the game. 100%... Our family booked this charter over our Christmas vacation in Kona. The Captain and Mate are extremely experienced and masters at pelagic fishing. They meshed well with my family and were very accommodating to our two children ages 9 and 12. Their equipment is professional grade and in great shape.  I would highly recommend booking this boat and we will book them again when we are back in Kona.
