We booked a kids trip for my 2.5 yr old daughter and it was absolutely perfect. Captain Harvey was a great guide! She loved every moment of it and captain was very good with her and extremely knowledgeable. Perfect short trip for the little ones and very action packed on calm inshore waters. I would highly recommend anyone with young kids to book with Salty Dawg. We will be making this a yearly tradition when we come in town.

Capt. Harvey was great to deal with. He’s very knowledgeable about the area and was super patient with my 2 boys as this was their first time out in salt water. He put us right on the fish out on a reef and the boys had reeled in 6-8 black sea bass in just a few minutes. After some time out in the ocean we headed back to the backwaters where his knowledge of the area really showed up in the way he navigated through the shallows. We had an absolutely fantastic time on this fishing charter with our 6 and 9-year-old kids! From the moment we got on board, the captain made the experience easy, fun, and stress-free—especially for us as parents bringing little ones. Captain Harvey was amazing. We all caught fish and he even took the time to help my 5 year old. Who by the way, ended up catching more fish than all of us. This was an amazing experience and we will definitely be booking another trip on our next vacation.

We decided to book this charter for my son’s 6th birthday. Overall it was a great time and captain Harvey was great. We caught a good amount of fish as well!  But when we go again we will definitely be going in spring or the summer time. It was pretty cold and we knew it would be cold considering it was February but the water was a bit more choppy than expected so we got a little wet on top of being cold.
