  Perfect day on the Water

  Half Day Trip on July 15, 2026 • 2 adults

  Words couldn’t describe the gratitude me and my girlfriend have for Captain Victor for providing us with an absolutely perfect day out on the water. Not only were we catching fish the whole time targeting sheepshead, black drum and red drum, (with 2 rays as well, awesome fights) but we had a blast chatting with Captain Victor, learning about the different species of fish we were catching, and using the techniques he taught us to catch them. Couldn’t recommend this guide enough, if you ever find yourself in the area looking to get on to some fish, then this is your guy. I know next time I visit the Wilmington area I’ll be booking with Captain Victor.

  We had an awesome experience with Carolina Charters and Captain Victor! From the moment we stepped on the boat, he made us feel comfortable and welcome. He was knowledgeable, professional, and easy to talk to, which made the trip even more enjoyable. The boat was clean, the gear was in great shape, and the fishing was excellent. You can tell Captain Victor knows these waters and genuinely wants everyone to have a great time. We made some great memories and would absolutely book another trip with Carolina Charters. Highly recommend!

  Captaian Victor was awsome, respectful qnd very helpful. i did not have any luck at catching anything but my husband caught a nice stingray. We may not have had much luck due to not having botes but we had a great time. my favorite part was just being on the boat and hitting the waves. Victore apologized for us not having any luck and we told him its was not his fault its just the luck of the draw. we will definitely be booking with Victor next year.

  Half Day Trip on June 14, 2026 • 2 adults

  4 hour trip fishing the ICW! We started the day targeting red drum along the jetty at Masonborough Inlet. Didnt land any redfish but probably had a few that broke us off. We caught toadfish that were probably 2-3 pounds but feel and fight like a much bigger fish! We hooked a stingray that was running and ripping drag like crazy! At one point the line got wrapped around one of the power poles…how the line did not snap i dont know! We caught a nice black drum and enough sheepshead for a nice family dinner! Captain Victor is great with kids and very patient…..highly recommended!

  Captain Victor is such a nice man and SO patient. All three of my kids had their lines caught on something, lines crossed or bait stolen multiple times and each time he just laughed and remedied the situation. He was amused rather than annoyed & was very quick to say, “I gotcha!” He answered all of our questions and it’s awesome he is a local and knows about the area and other things to do besides fish. He told us he’s been driving a boat from a young age and his skill was apparent, especially when we met wakes from oncoming boats-he navigated us through as smoothly as possible. Definitely book with Captain Victor-he is just awesome and you will enjoy his expertise and easygoing nature.
