My 13 year old son and I had a blast on this trip. It was the one thing he wanted on our trip and it was a huge success! The crew was great with him and helped him be successful! We got lucky on our shared trip to be with great people too! So happy with this experience!
Took my father (in his 70s) on a salmon fishing trip with Captain Justin and four other passengers in early September. Captain Justin has a good sense of where the fish are and the six of us each managed to hit our two fish quota. Captain Justin was especially attentive with my father to make sure he had a good experience, which I greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Captain Justin to anyone looking to book!
Captain Donovan was a great instructor and made the whole experience fun, comfortable, informative, and relaxed. We landed and kept three lingcod, which being from the East Coast we were catching for the first time, and several rockfish. The boat was immaculate, and the natural beauty of Puget Sound, including brief sightings of whales and porpoises, also added to an excellent day of fishing. Captain Donovan’s impeccable boneless filleting technique was another bonus. All in all, it was a great day on the water, a memorable 10 out of 10 experience!

We kept Captain Donovan very busy with all the bites we had - some times 2 or 3 at once. Though there were a lot of boats out, very few were fishing near our spot. Most of our bites were Silvers that we could keep, I thought our captain selected a very good spot for us to fish. We caught our limit early, then he took us back and expertly cleaned and filleted our fish. We had the best ever salmon dinner.
Donovan and Xavier were the BEST! They were personable and knowledgeable. we caught several different kinds of fish thanks to their know-how. For most of our group, this was their first time fishing on a boat and anywhere else for that matter. But these two experts were gracious and patient in helping everyone. We'll definitely request them if we ever had this way again. I'm recommending them to a friend who's coming to Seattle in September.
Captain Justin and his deckhand, Tyler, were great. They were professional, knowledgeable, and made the trip enjoyable from start to finish. Justin kept us on fish the entire time. We nearly limited out on coho, caught and released several king salmon since they weren’t in season, and my daughter had a blast catching dogfish. It was an awesome day on the water, and I would definitely recommend Justin to anyone looking for a fun and successful fishing trip.
