I booked my trip through FishingBooker and A - Dare Charters with Capt. Dennis. The trip was excellent, Capt. Dennis ask me what I was expecting to catch that day, I said striped bass, blues, and Flounder. First thing in the morning we went jyst outside the bay because of low tide. We went to where the birds were feeding and immediately started to catch bluefish. We caught 12 total of the bluefish. Then once the tide started to rise we headed to the bay bridge to try our luck at the striped bass, had a few hits, but no luck landing. Dennis has everything ready ahead of time, there is no waiting for him to change up your rig. The last part of my trip was drifting for flounder, we caught 2 while we were drifting.

My experience with A-Dare and Capt. Dennis again was excellent and would highly recommend to others.

Went out for two hours. We went and caught some bait fish and then Captain put us on the fish right away. If you are new to fishing Captain walks you through getting the fish on the boat. If you have some experience, he lets you bring it in yourself. Just a great Experience and can’t wait for next time.

The captain is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the local spots, and he went above and beyond to be accommodating to our group. The best part? The incredible patience and care he showed our son to make sure he reeled in a catch. Watching his excitement was priceless. Our trip was 5 days after a northeastern storm went through, and the wind was still blowing at 13 and gust up to 30. temps were 50’s, and the water was cloudy. Although conditions were not good, we were able to land 4 nice stripers between 20 to 26 inches. we also missed a few strikes.
the majority of the 4 hour trip was spent fishing under the south bridge. we saw about 6 other fish caught from the bridge and from another boat. Without the boat, we would have had to do all of our fishing from the pier, and we did spend many hours there and only landed many stingrays and sand sharks.

we would do this trip again!
