I'm a Florida native that grew up fishing in the gulf with my father, brother, and others. I moved to Atlanta in 2006 shortly after my son was born. We were visiting my Father in Florida and I wanted my son to have the same experience I had growing up. Captain Dan exceeded my expectations and I couldn't have been more happy with the trip. We will definitely book again.

We had a great day fishing. Caught some Redfish and some Snook. Had a great day. My wife did not fish but she was happy with the boat ride and taking pictures. She also got plenty of sun which she loved. I caught redfish and snook two species that I had never caught before. The snook gave a great fight and the redfish are also very strong. GREAT DAY! CAPTIAN DAN EXCELLENT informative and very good at showing you how to fish for species that I had never caught before. THANK YOU!
We had the most special and memorable experience with Captain Dan. He made sure we were all comfortable and having fun. He was so incredibly patient with my kids who were beginners at salt water fishing. This was an experience of a lifetime for all of us and we will definitely be back to see Dan again.

I would give Captain Dan and Beachside charters 10 stars if I could! He was extremely professional and knowledgeable of the local waters. I had family in town and everyone wanted to do something different and Captain Dan managed to check off everyone’s boxes. He showed up on time to the park and had the boat all set up and ready to go for us. Took us to check out the skyway bridge where we ran into lots of dolphins. Then we headed out to Egmont Key where we got to explore and find gopher tortoises and ospreys and see the light house and old fort. Then we headed over to Shell Key where Captain Dan led us to a secret secluded beach for us to eat lunch and enjoy the water. He had chairs ready for us to eat on the beach! We then had dolphins swim up to us while getting back on the boat! We headed over to some of Dans Secret fishing spots where we caught some Snook and Sheep’s head. Everyone in my family wanted to do something different and we all were very happy with the beautiful day on the water. Definitely going to call Captain Dan anytime I want to go back out on the water.
Captain Dan was a fantastic fishing guide! Our son’s dream was to catch a shark and on his first cast, he was successful. Captain Dan is well aware of good fishing spots and gives customers a great experience. He helped all onboard cast, change out bait, and reel when needed.
