We had an absolute blast with Monty!  He was so great with our teenage boys and made the experience fun and enjoyable!  He did everything himself too as his mate was sick… we will be back if we ever venture back to N. Carolina!

As our first charter boat experience, we couldn’t have had a better time than we have with Captain Big Fish. Not only is he friendly and funny, but he goes above and beyond to ensure everyone has a wonderful time. We were highly satisfied and will definitely be back for a longer day with the captain and his exceptional mate. Thank you Captain Big Fish!!
26 Spanish Mackerel
1 25lb Barracuda

My wife and I took our sons and their girlfriends(teenagers) out for half a day.  While the fish were not cooperating at least we weren’t skunked and did bring back some King Mackerel filets. 

Captain Monty and Ben were accommodating host.  The boat was first class and when the chop picked up Captain was considerate of some who were less than 100 % in attempting to keep ride smooth while trolling. 

In spite of a slow fish day Captain and crew were great and we’d go out again or recommend them for your trip.

Had a great time from the start with Captain Monty and his first mate. Went out and started a little slow then all of the sudden the fish just started rolling in. Ended up catching a few sea bass and about 25 bonita. Captain Monty had great energy the whole time and made the whole experience that much better. He filleted and packed all the tuna for us to cook for dinner. In the end, very hospitable for me and my college buddies. 10/10 would recommend going out with Captain Monty and I know we will be going back out with him soon.

Monty was great, booked this for my dad for his birthday. Thought it was going to be a busy but last minute ended up catching a barracuda. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a fishing day.
