We started out on time on a hot summer day jetty fishing. We knew The fishing would be tough as the fish go deeper in the hot weather. We had fairly consistent bites for about 3 hours and we caught a variety of smaller fish and missed hooking a lot of fish that bit and that was our fault. We had plenty of bait and plenty of direction by Captain West. We moved out later to try to catch some bigger fish to no avail. But alas, we took about 28 lb of 3 varieties of cleaned fish “home"and had them cooked at a local restaurant upon his advice. That made our fishing trip and evening dinner very nice in Galveston Texas. Our Captain was a very down to earth guy and was very relatable to us Midwestern Missouri folk. His knowledge is good, the elements dictated our success. His equipment is good. Thanks!

Mathew provided everything we needed and was super helpful. He was great with the kids…always offering to help them if the needed it, but letting them do things on their own if they thought they could. Would recommend.

Captain Matt taught us about the area and was always ready to help throughout the trip. Very helpful, mindful, and courteous. Looking forward to the next trip!
