Mike was ready and helpful from the very start, calling me 15 mins before meeting time to make sure we wound up in the right place. Raiden was very responsive over email leading up to fishing day.

We got our first hit before the second line was even in the water, and hammered chinook for most of the morning. We limited on 10, 13, 17, and 20 pounders, and started and ended with double heaters. Important to note: most other boats on the water hardly played anything.

This was my partner’s first time fishing, and she got 5 or 6 to the boat with Mike’s help. I had never used down riggers (just cut plug) and he answered all my questions and helped me learn how to free the line on my own.

Afterwards, we found a couple humpies. Perfect morning.

Only thing I would mention: I was excited to chase some halibut/ling, but we were told there isn’t much in the area. Maybe make sure this area is where you want to fish if you are looking for an all around experience.
