The ocean was to rough for a several mile run today so Captain Francisco kept us safely closer to the launch site.  The fishing was a little slow at first but kept moving until we started catching.  We ended up with about 25 pounds of beautiful fillets.  Francisco knows these waters like the back of his hand and had us catching fish all day.  I have before, and will again go fish on the Princesa.  Captain Francisco and his son are the best in my book.  Until next time, Thank You again and tight lines.

This was the best fishing trip! As soon as our lines hit the water it was literally “fish on”. Captain Francisco knew exactly where to fish and the activity never stopped. We even headed back a little early because we were so tired from the non stop action. We came home with no less than 50 fish among the 4 of us. We caught Sea Trout, Trigger Fish, Sea Bass and Mackrel. The Captain cleaned and fileted them all for us. He shared with us his knowledge on how to cook the different types of fish for best eating results. We will definitely be booking with Captain Francisco of La Princesa again in the future. However next time at his suggestion, we will be requesting that he demonstrate and share with us his expertise in making cerviche with some of our catch. We can’t wait!  We had the greatest time and highly recommend this fishing excursion.

Took a family vacation and decided to do a 6 hour trip on La Princesa. We were 5 adults with beginner oven fishing skills. Our quest was to bring back enough fish to feed our group of over 20.
We met Francisco and his son and slipped out to sea. Everyone was able to catch fish. We had a vegan in our group and she even took part in the fishing. In fact, she may have out fished everyone.
1 hour into our trip and we had half a bucket of fish. Captain Francisco knows how to find the fish. Him and his son were incredibly patient and helpful. They stored in when needed but also let us all learn along the way.
The cleaning started before we even got to the dock. All fish were cleaned and filleted for us. We left the dock with over 30 lbs of fresh fish, maybe even close to 35.We caught mostly trigger fish and sea bass.
As another reviewer said, this is not a luxury charter, but if you want a fun experience where you are sure to catch some fish-this is the charter to book.  Water and soda were provided. It was the perfect way to spend the morning and still have the rest of the day to hit the beach. We feasted on ceviche and grilled fish the entire weekend! If you are looking for a fun charter where you will catch fish, Captain Francisco is who you should book! He is patient and will teach you how to fish and then let you practice your new skills. You can’t go wrong with an early morning trip on La Princesa.
