I would highly recommend fishing with mahi mahi on the Samantha! Jose and his first mate Fernando did an amazing job. They had us catching fish the entire time. They catered to us and made us feel great the whole time. We caught a big rooster and some jack, smaller rooster and a ton of Spanish mackerel. I would definitely book with these guys again. Serious about catching and beating the fleet!  5 Dorado in 5 hours - fresh fillets to take home require another suitcase!  Cesar is great and did not disappoint!  Will fish with him again!

Was hoping for more smaller fish but it seemed like trolling for Mahi and Marlin was the technique for most anglers.  Got a strike on live bait but didn’t get the hook within the first hour.  A couple more hours of trolling and we had a good sized Marlin on for about a minute when he jumped and shook the hook.  I let my son handle the pole and it almost pulled him into the water!  It was a very good experience for him, just wish we could have gotten the fish closer to the boat for a pic... This was a mother and son fishing trip with a great morning of memories made. We caught a small Mahi, then spotted a marlin. Caesar was quick to cast the bait and before we we knew it the marlin took the bait. Switched bait again and we scored our final catch of a giant Dorado. It was a perfect morning! Thank you Mahi!

This was our first time in Cabo and wanted to do a fishing trip. I will say our experience with Mahi fishing charters was great. Jose was very informative and answered any questions we had. He made me feel very comfortable. The trip was perfect. Jose’ and deck mate Fernando gave us a great trip. We would definitely come back.
