We lucked out with some great weather and captain Jesse took full advantage of it for us. We had wanted to catch some good offshore fish for eating but didn’t realize it’s a bit early in the season to do so - regardless the stars aligned and even though he could have just as easily kept us closer inshore and still caught some fish, he really went above and beyond to give us an amazing experience. We caught every fish we had wanted, and enjoyed every minute of it. Captain Jesse is extremely hard working and knowledgeable; he knows exactly where the fish are and how to get you there. He handles his boat expertly, and I could tell he was constantly monitoring the water and adjusting to keep us comfortable. He never once made us feel like we were inexperienced (we very much are), always offering a hand but also standing back at all the right times to let you bring in a fish and have a great time. It’s clear he genuinely enjoys what he does and wants you to feel that enjoyment too when you’re out on the water with him. As if the fishing experience weren’t enough, he also filleted our catch for us and even recommended a place for us to get our king fish smoked and how to store our tuna to keep it its freshest. We can’t wait to book with him again ☺️

Wanted to go salt water fishing for a long time but have never been able to for one reason or another. This year I was able to book with Jesse and Tighten Up on fairly short notice. I wasn’t sure what to expect since I have never used a fishing guide before but my expectations were surpassed!

Jesse definitely knows where the fish are, and when they are there. Every spot we went to resulted in multiple fish being caught. Not only that but, my daughter and I don’t have a ton of fishing experience, so we were really relying on Jesse to show us how to fish for each type of fish. He came through and we both felt super comfortable on his boat the entire time.

I highly recommend using Jesse and Tighten Up. We had a great day and caught a ton of fish. Can’t think of a better way to end 2020!

Capt Jesse Berry was spot on providing us with the most exceptional fishing experience of a lifetime.  Once we arrived at our destination it was minutes before our frenzy of fishing exploded.  Mahi-mahi Tuna Cobia and Sailfish were the highlights of the day.  Our excitement was matched by Captain Berry in every aspect and his patience was appreciated.  Highly recommend and would do it again!!  Thank you again

My son and I did a half day inshore fishing trip and caught a large Snook and a few Jacks. Captain Jesse was great and made sure we caught fish. He knew lots of coves where fish hide. He was also great with my son and patient. We had such an awesome time that we booked the next day for an offshore experience. If you are looking for an all around great day of fishing this is your guy. We will definitely book Jesse again.
