We had an absolutely awesome day off of Cape Hatteras with Captain JT and Mate Mat on the Under Pressure. This was our first time out with the them and we will absolutely be back. They were a super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and very hard working team. The boat was very comfortable to ride and fish out of even with building seas on the way home. We had steady action all day long and filled the box up. Mat was a madman in the back of the boat working the rails for us! Really enjoyed talking with him all day and learning the tricks of the trade. Just an all around A+ experience. Can’t wait to do it again soon!

This trip was the best ever!!!! The Captain, JT, was knowledgeable about the area and an expert fisherman.  His abilities are amaing.  He kept us on the fish. The mate, Matt, was great to spend the day with.  He worked hard all day and was east to talk to and he included are Grandchildren 13 and 7 in the fishing and was expert with the gaffe.  This was a birthday trip for our Grandson (13). We caught Wahoo, Mai Mai, Amberjack, and Blackfin!! The vessel (Under Pressure) was well equiped, sound and clean. Nice vessel!! I would book again with JT in a heartbeat. We had the bestday ever!!!!

Captain JT and first mate Jeff were awesome! We had a party of 6, all 1st timers, including two 15 year old boys, for my son’s birthday.  Even though the birthday boy got seasick, he still said he had the best time ever! Captain JT and Jeff worked hard to put us on the fish and we came in with a 10 blues and 1 king makeral for a total of 68.5 lbs😁 there was a gentleman that fileted them at the marina for $1/lb and we had a fish fry at our airbnb that night. it was a wonderful experience!  thank you so much Captain JT and 1st mate Jeff!

JT and Alex were fantastic guides for our group of 5 from upstate NY. The weather was unfortunately not in our favor this morning and storms were passing through, but JT was sure to contact us before leaving our Airbnb 25 minutes from the boat and offered to wait it out for a few more hours. We still got the entirety of our 5-hour trip and then some out in the water, regardless of the late start. He communicated very thoroughly, confirming at the time of booking, the night before and the day of our trip. He was sure to mention all of the important steps for us to follow and tips he had - for both fishing and sight seeing. His assistant Jesus (government name: Alex) was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to give our crew the best experience possible. It’s a bit tricky to find but JT gave excellent directions and texted photos of the map for the shopping center and how to find them. At the end, we got to keep all of the fish we caught, and JT and Jesus washed them and laid them out so we could take a group photo! They even weighed a 16.5 lb albacore caught by our dad and checked for citations for weight! Sadly, it fell short by 3.5 lbs, but was still exciting nonetheless.  Down the dock is a booth where you can have your fish cleaned and filleted for a very reasonable price. Exceptional experience and highly recommend! Would definitely book another tour with Under Pressure!

Under Pressure provided my daughter and I with an awesome experience! This was our first offshore fishing trip and Captain JT gave us an adventure to remember. He used his knowledge of the local waters to maximize fishing time and had us on fish all day. We caught Wahoo on the way out and on the way back in, jigged a 54 pound Amberjack, and hooked multiple Tuna. First Mate Alex hustled to keep the baits fresh and change lure sets as we targeted new fish. By the end of the day we were exhausted from our time in the fighting chair, but had a combined catch of 145 pounds in the ice box to show for all the effort. Under Pressure exceeded all of our expectations. We would highly recommend them and are already looking forward to our next trip on the water with Captain JT and First Mate Alex.
