We were looking for a last minute fishing trip on our way out of town. As we tried other ones with no luck. My son wanted to really catch a fish. And captain Dave didn’t disappoint. He was amazing with my kids and talked with my son all day and kept him very entertained. My son on the way home joked that he liked him so much he felt like a grandpa to him.
I honestly can’t say enough great things about our experience. He made sure that we were catching fish or at least getting bites. I highly recommended booking this trip. He is a great guy and wonderful to work with.
We will definitely be back!!

I booked a 4-hour fishing trip with Captain Dave for a surprise for my husband’s 40th birthday. We spent a pleasant morning dropping our lines, but only pulling up crabs, skates, a clam (!) and a toadfish, as well as a flounder that wasn’t big enough to keep, and then bam—in the last 20 minutes my husband caught a 19.5 inch flounder! It was a fun trip, my husband got the delight of reeling in the fish, and we ate well for two days. Now, Captain Dave doesn’t dictate which fish are biting or why, the fish do that, but he was very patient about putting us in the best position to succeed. It was a fun, low key way to spend the morning. And there are lots of nesting osprey if you like birds.

I definitely recommend a trip out with Captain Dave. Thanks a bunch!

Captain Dave really put in the work to give my family a great day of fishing. We were able to catch and see several species of fish we had not seen before. Also, Captain Dave put a lot of effort into making sure my son was able to reel in some fun to catch fish. Overall a 10 out of 10 day for the overall experience. We will definitely book a trip with Captain Dave in the future.

While on vacation we decided to try a shark fishing trip with Captain Dave and he did not disappoint. We had so much fun and never saw shark in person like that before. They’re quite tiring to reel in, so it was nice to take turns with the family. I’ll definitely recommend fishing with Captain Dave to anyone I know heading to Delaware. He was very professional and fun to fish with!

I cannot recommend a fishing trip with Capt. Dave enough. He was great, knowledgeable in all the best fishing spots, and most of all made itge trip extremely fun for my 12 year old son and I. Capt. Dave gets 5 stars across the board from us, and we’ll most certainly be booking again when we return next summer. Thank you Capt. Dave for an amazing trip!!
