Eric, our captain was great!  We started at the crack of dawn and had a beautiful sunrise to watch as we cruised out. We started by catching bait fish, mackerel, and had lots of fun when we found them. We then went on for the tuna. We have e it a good effort with trolling and had a little excitement when our bait started to jump around.  None the less we had no luck and decided to head back for a little stripper hunting. We ended up hooking up a couple times and landed one. 

They call it fishing and we did that!!  The trip was a success as we did all we could do with the guidance of our experienced captain. We will definitely go back with Captain Eric. He knows what he is doing and was , at times, more impatient than us. We agreed that fishing is a little luck, a little more skill, and a whole lot of knowledge.  Captain Eric brings the knowledge and skill. We just weren’t lucky on this day.  Be back soon and will call Eric we’ll before to charter again. Thanks Cap!!

When I checked out the information on the Fishing Booker website I was Impressed with Eric’s reason for getting an early start. on July 4th, Eric got the three of us with rods in the water well before we saw any other anglers. He was very knowledgeable about the conditions most favorable to fishing for. stripers. Eric is very personable and eager to make the experience as fun and successful as possible. We caught 2 keepers and 7-8 others (a few below the limit and a few 40 inch bass). A most enjoyable trip—we’ll be back for sure.

Erik was on time and very friendly. The boat was perfect for the 2 of us aboard, Erik provided a cooler with water and we brought our dry bag for a few small snacks. Weather was beautiful, you couldn’t beat the sunrise over the marsh during our ride out to sea. We didn’t have much luck, but not for lack of trying on the Captains part. He was patient, laid back, a good teacher and persistent in his efforts to get us on some fish. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

My father and I had a great time with Captain Erik!  The bait was a little hard to come by this morning but Captain Erik worked really hard to find some!  He was really knowledgeable about the area and knew where to go for us to catch fish.  I would recommend this trip to anyone who is looking for a trip in the area!
