Captain Luis was excellent at putting us on fish and making our day most enjoyable.  First mate Ishmael did an excellent job, rigging lines and helping us boat fish.  I would highly recommend this boat and this company and this crew to anyone beginner, intermediate, or advanced that wants to sport fish in the world class fishing waters of Cabo, San Lucas.  Mark Siegel Henderson, Nevada.

We did the 8-hour trip and were very pleased with the crew, the boating, the lunches provided and caught 3 dorado. We were targeting striped marlin and tuna. We got the 3 dorado in the first 2 hours then trolled the rest of the time with no bites. I wished we would have tried something different or moved to a different area but I am not familiar enough with Cabo fishing really know if this would have mattered. We did see other boats coming in with flags showing they caught 10+ tuna, lucky them! Oh well, that’s why it’s called fishing, not catching. Overall very nice crew and nice accomodations.

You can count on Budsters to provide a top notch fishing experience hands down. Very experienced at reading the ocean currents and fishing hotspots. This was my second time fishing in Cabo and have to say I prefer near-shore fishing much better than deep sea. The boat was clean and comfy. Highly recommended to bring extra ice, drinks, and snacks for the long day. We caught 16 Mahi Mahi/Dorados on this trip (4 got away). We kept 5 for our group and gave the rest to the crew as they distribute the extra catch throughout the local fishing community.

Luis and first mate were absolutely amazing. Couldn’t have asked for a better boat crew to spend the day with as they did all they could to get us on fish all while maintaining a very clean boat. Started our day out with a constant tuna bite bringing in 20+ tuna with a couple big ones! Went through a slow period for about 2 hours but Luis never stopped and was able to get us on and land a 120lb marlin. Great boat and crew to spend a day of fishing with. Would recommend Luis and El Budster Pride to anyone!

First time fishing in Cabo.  Went 7/10/23.  I read reviews about El Budster and decided to give it a try.  Awesome experience.  Four of us in group - caught 8ft Striped Marlin, approx 10 Tuna (7 boated, sharks eating them), a trophy Dorado made it to the boat and then he got off, and 2 sharks 7ft + during our time catching Tuna.  The Captain Luis and Mate Israel were fantastic and true fishermen. They looked for the fish from bridge and hunted for signs of fish the whole time.  They made adjustments from live bait to lures trying to land fish.  They worked hard and it paid off.  The only negatives are I’d suggest bringing your own cooler with drinks on ice.  They cooler in boat doesn’t get as cold as we like it.  The other would be the sink having running water with soap.  After handling the fish, it would be nice to wash hands.  Other than that, you will have a blast and they will do their best to put you on the fish!  Tripp Floyd, Nashville TN
