Great experience! Told the captain we wanted to catch Dorado, Wahoo and yellowfin tuna. Limited out on nice dorado within 90 minutes of leaving the dock so we moved deeper to try for some yellowfin. No yellowfin but an 8 foot striped marlin put on a great show while a humpback whale breeched 50 yards past the marlin, epic show. Word on the radio was no yellowfin but lots of marlin so I asked the captain if we could switch to deep running plugs for wahoo. Two nice wahoo later we ended the trip two hours early and headed for the dock and a wahoo sashimi lunch. Highly recommended boat and crew!

Had a great day on the water with Captain Luis and Deckhand Ishmael. Fishing had been a little slow so I had low expectations for the trip but we managed to get a marlin, 3 Dorado, 2 skipjack and two small Mako sharks. Luis and Ishmael were very professional, the boat and head were clean and the tackle we used was top quality (Shimano Tiagras and Talica’s). If you are taking a taxi there in the morning I would recommend telling them to drop you at Cabo Dolphins as our taxi seemed confused about the second Senior Frogs location on the south side of the marina.

What a day!
We started at 630am.  I’d caught my first skip jack at 645.  A decent sized fish at 5lb. 

By 10am I had two 25lb Dorado and several more skip jack.

Then we went after the big boys.

I landed my first lifetime Marlin by noon.  I hooked a second one but he dropped off the line.  I nearly got two!!!

Honestly, I don’t want to write a good review because I want to be selfish and keep this boat and crew to myself for the next time I come down but god damn. Louis and Ishmael hooked me up. The price was great, we caught a mahi mahi almost instantly, and then three marlin. I tore my hands up (went solo fishing) but was totally worth it. It was an experience I’ll never forget. These guys hooked me up with beer, food, and worked their asses off to get those three marlins on. Two of them were monsters too, over 98 inches. 10/10 would do again.

We were celebrating my birthday and what a gift, I caught a 8ft Marlin before 7:30AM.
As we continued with our fishing, we caught a second Marlin.

The boat was extremely clean and comfortable.

Captain Luis was diligent and professional, deckhand Omar was very good and supportive in coaching us on the proper way to bring in our catch.
