This trip far exeeded my expectations. Captain Dylan took us out about 5 minutes from the dock. Chummed the water and had us on a 100 pound tarpon in 5 minutes. Unfortunately it spit the hook. Then 10 minutes later we hooked a 125 pound 6 foot monster that my dad fought for 1.5 hours. Captain Dylan did some amazing boat maneuvers to keep the giant tarpon off the shoreline and from running to the boat docks. Hired Eric to for a full day tarpon trip. We specifically asked to fly fish, but we’re open to conventional especially if this conditions aren’t right for fly fishing. Eric showed up with 1 fly and wasn’t competent as a fly guide. We picked up on that and told him we were up for spin gear. He only had 10lb test. He said we could try, but the line would break. Not true… I have a box of Flys and Fished a 8 hour trip with you.. Your friend was having difficulty throwing a Fly. I took you to get some Trout because your weren’t having success with Fly fishing. I put you on the Tarpon you had several shots and you were not successful!
