Slow fishing but fun

3/4 Day Trip (AM)6 adults

Our fishing was not great, but it wasn’t for lack of trying! Captain Scott and first mate Mike threw the book at the fish! We tried different spots, speeds, depths, lures and nothing could make the fish bite. We still managed to catch 2 Brown Trout and a huge King Salmon. I’d never eaten trout before and we grilled some of the both fish that night and the Trout was delicious!! Almost a little sweet, they were both delicious! I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Unsalted Outfitters again! The boat was well kept, the guys were both conversational and they did a great job teaching us what was going on.

    Excellent Trip and Crew

    Captain Gavin and First Mate Jax did an excellent job! They were very active in setting us up and working hard to gyus fish. The boat was well equipped and clean. We caught Coho Salmon, Steelhead Trout and several large Lake Trout. plus a great sunrise and great conversation

    Captain and first mate were A1 first class Caught two right off the bat, but then it got a little slow, but the captain and 1 st mate were downright determined and our whole group caught at least one fish We all had a great time and appreciate everything

    Captain Gavan and First Mate Kevin were great. I wanted to take this trip to experience how to fish for salmon, and Capt. Gavan and Kevin were willing to teach me and answer every question I had. I learned a lot, and we caught some great fish. Highly recommend Capt. Scott and his crew. Definitely intend to be back!

    The crew was very nice and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful day on the lake and had a great time catching fish. Definitely would recommend.
