I caught my first Marlin ( by the way I caught THREE) but I got a nearly 10 foot over 200lb huge fish! Then I told the Captain that I wanted Mahi to feed my friends later—he said they hadn’t been biting, but we’d try hard; we got three and kept 2! A bonito to boot. I could barely keep going to bring the Marlin in and Joel was screaming inspiring things like ” this is not a Mahi, you want a Marlin you gotta really want it” lol and he was yelling ” I love my job” every time the Marlin flew up out of the water, inspired me to keep going, I can’t move my arms today, worth it! Can’t wait to go back out with these guys. Will specifically request them.

Very friendly owner, captain and deckhand. Just as we left the marina we had trouble with the boat and had to be towed back in. They took us to Captain Tony’s restaurant alongside the marina and bought us breakfast while the boat was being fixed. Since we lost two hours due to the breakdown they extended our end time so we still got an 8 hour trip.  The crew worked hard to put us on fish by changing lures and throwing live bait when we saw fish or had strikes. We caught four striped marlin and five mahi mahi. We had a double on marlin which was really cool fighting two of them at the same time. We also had a double on mahi mahi.

Trip of a lifetime, Capt Gilbert and Joel were fantastic,. My wife had never caught a fish before and on this trip she caught a skip Jack and a Marlin.  We ended up catching 3 Marlins altogether. Both Gilbert and Joel worked very hard to catch these fish.  Would recommend this trip to anyone.  Their service and support were over the top!  Will definitely be back with the Blue Tail.

Me, my wife and 2 daughters spent a full day with the Blue Tail team. They were fantastic. They ere friendly and very knowledgeable of where to fish. At first I was a bit concerned given we headed in a different direction than the other boats that morning. As we left the harbor They asked what we wanted to catch. We said a marlin and a wahoo. Within 6 hours we had caught a 9 foot striped marlin and a beautiful wahoo in addition to a couple of yellow fin tuna and some jacks. It was an incredible day. Thank you to the Blue Tail team! We will be back.

You guys want to fish have fun and laugh. Book with blue tail fishing !!! Not to brag but we caught a big Marlin and a pile of Mahi Mahi and even some bottom fish . But we would have still had a great time with our guides even if we didn’t catch a thing. Joel and Gilbert were pros with years of experience. They knew the area like the back of their hand. It was a wonderful trip and would recommend this company to anyone looking for a great fishing experience in Cabo.
