Family trip me wife kids 15/11/4 and captain Kelly made it amazing for all of us - he even let us bring our Boston terrier. We landed more keepers than the boats around us, he worked hard flipping bait/lures all trip… crab from his traps to top it off was a nice treat.
Our trip with Last Chance and capt Kelly was a great 6 hours on the water. we were on fish within the first 45 minutes, and we were able to put a couple keepers in the fish chest! Wifes shopping list for some salmon was checked off! Kelly was knowledgeable and was able to switch up gear and locations quickly to get on the fish that were biting. we fished to the last minute. and he even cleaned and filleted the fish for us. Capt Kelly was also quite accommodating with our two small dogs, even when they decided that it was a good time to have a sibling fight and had to be separated. Captain Kelly worked very hard to get us the fish we wanted - a good size 70+ cm salmon. We worked hard for it, and we had to fight through tons of tiny Chinook until the big ones finally started biting just 30 mins before the charter ended, but eventually Captain Kelly got us into the bigger ones after trying his hardest! Captain Kelly even agreed to extend our charter time by 45 minutes just to make sure we had the best chance at big fish. I would highly recommend this charter to others!
You bet, it started off slow about finished with a bang it was a lot of fun.
We had a blast, Kelly knows the waters and knows how to land you on the fish. The highlight was fishing a triple, all 3 rods bent within 5 seconds of one another. It was an experience my Alberta inlaws will remember forever.
Kelly is easily the best fishing guide i have ever hired! Shared knowledge, was super accommodating, kept us on the fish all day while managing the rods and triple headers like a pro. Patient, funny and helpful! :)
Captain Kelly was great, and really cool to talk to. He had lots of good info to share about everything fishing. My kids had so much fun, since he has lots of kids on his family the same age as mine! Wear beat up running shoes and an old hoodie.
