Captain Enrique of Samaki Charters runs a great operation. The communication from booking up until departure was top notch. He reached out the day before our charter to let us know the forecast was for a windy day with rough (seas at 6’ at 5 second intervals) and asked if we would like to reschedule. We were late due to a mix up in time and things beyond our control, they waited on us and even with limited time made our trip great. We caught 3 large barracuda and a small Mahi Mahi. Would do it again and reccomend the crew in a heart beat

It was our first time going out deep sea fishing and it was a lot of fun! Everyone we went with seemed to enjoy themselves. There’s nothing like reeling in a big fish! Just come a little more prepared than we did. It was difficult finding the place and getting in. It was all fine, but maybe get there more than 30 minutes early just in case.

We couldn’t stop hitting fish. The entire time we were either reeling them in or putting lines back out. There several instances of us having two lines with fish on at once. Even got some sashimi made fresh! Thank you! Can’t wait for next time!

We had a great time even with fairly rough waters. The crew and captain worked hard at keeping lines in the water and bait fresh. We were able to reel in 2 barracuda and a mackerel. One of the barracuda measuring about 4 feet! We will book with Samaki Fishing Charters again for our next day of fishing in Cancun area.
