Tito tried everything in the Master Captain’s hand book to me on the fish . Were them in large numbers and was trolling with six lines out and they wouldn’t buy anything. In fact we trolled over 80 miles of ocean. They just weren’t gonna buy at all, but the crew was outstanding and when I come again, I will hire them again first class all the way.

I got this as a present for my husband & he absolutely loved it! Jose was very informative & accommodating! He was knowledgeable on the areas to go to for different types of fish. We caught a mahi mahi that they fillet right on the boat & you can take with you at the end. We also caught two sailfish & got awesome pictures from the water before they were released back. The waters were calm so never felt sea sick & Jose always was offering water/snacks. Highly recommend!

Avid saltwater fisherman for many years but first trip to Quepos, José and David (first mate) are a class act. The dynamic duo know their stuff and where the fish are. Caught snook, mangrove snapper, wahoo and more! I’ll definitely be back, already looking to November when the BIG Mahi come in !!

Our trip with Hildago sport fishing was amazing.  We had originally only planned a 1/2 day trip, but a few hours into our trip we knew we wanted more and extended our trip to a full day.  Captain Jose is a local captain that grew up in the area and is very knowledgeable. He had a great vibe with us as parents but he was truely amazing with kids too. We focused on rooster fishing and we were successful in our search.  It was a very hot day as well and we were able to take a couple short breaks at our request to jump in the water near some beautiful beaches.  This is a smaller boat but had plenty of room for our family of 4, and we caught more fish that day than all the big boats in the fleet. If your in town I would definitely recommend booking these guys.

We really enjoyed this trip.  Jose and his helper worked very well together to make sure we had a great trip. A couple of Jose’s friends were out in other boats and they didn’t catch anything.  I’m glad we were with Jose so my husband could reel in his sail fish.
