Captain Zane was personable, an expert fisherman and boatsman prone to teach and share info about how to fish, types of fish, habits of birds and fish. He shared info about the sound, UNCW’s and CCC’s research there. Since my family members are educators, we all appreciated this information,  enhancing the trip even more. We caught 21 fish large enough to bring home. It was great. However, the website promised that he would clean and filet the fish. That didn’t happen. We paid over $40.00 to a business he recommended to us. Nevertheless,  we would go again and would recommend Captain Zane.

We really enjoyed our fishing charter with Captain Zane. It was a beautiful day out on the water. The redfish were not cooperating, but Capt Zane got us on an awesome spanish mackerel bite. He knew how badly I wanted to catch a redfish and tried his best to get me on one. At the end of the trip, my husband was able to bring in a red! My family and I had a lot of fun on this charter, and we look forward to booking with Captain Zane again in the future. He’s the best!

Great time on the water, we wanted a shark trip and we got sharks and a gorgeous sting ray.  Already looking at dates for our next trip.

It was a great experience!!! Missed a few, but got a nice 1!!! Captain Zane is the BEST!!! Most definitely going out again!!!! HE KNOWS THE FISH AND WHERE THEY ARE!!! VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND WATER SAFETY SAVVY!!!! THE OTHER BOATERS NEED TO RESPECT THE WATER AND UNDERSTAND THIS IS HOW THEY MAKE A LIVING!!!!! CAPTAIN ZANE RULES, CAN’T WAIT TO GO BACK!!!!
