The Cpt took us out today when I screwed up the date of my reservation. We caught him as he was done for the day and he still took us out a week earlier then I mistakenly reserved. It was a short trip but he got us on some fish. Nothing we could keep but definitely what we wanted to target. Just too big to keep lol. I got sea sick and he quickly transitioned to a calmer spot. This dudes customer service is top notch and I give him 6 stars for his hospitality. I had my dad with me and it meant the world to me for him to experience this. Thanks Cpt.

It was mine and my husbandโs first ocean fishing charter. We had fun catching Spanish mackerel, bluefish, and a great big red fish at the end! I thought it was pretty cool how we got to catch our own bait fish too. The captain was friendly and caring after I got seasick. Iโm an avid boater from MN and have spent lots of time on some of our biggest lakes including a fishing charter on lake superior and Iโve never gotten seasick before, but even the calm ocean waters got to me after a few hours! If youโve never been on a ocean fishing charter before Iโd recommend taking the captainโs advice and taking dramamine prior. You donโt want to be seasick and not be able to enjoy eating your fresh catches afterwards like me lol ๐ฅฒ

Captain Michael was so amazing with our little crew ranging from 10-6! He was extremely patient and very knowledgeable. He took us to several places along the canal and we were instantly on fish within moments. The entire experience was absolutely flawless and we will definitely be back again! Highly recommend Big Fin Charters for all ages and experience levels!

Cpt. Mike and TJ met us at the dock and med us feel right at home from the moment we boarded the boat. Fishing equipment and boat were top notch in all respects! We were on fish almost immediately after arriving at the fishing area offshore! The entire day felt like we were out fishing with old friends! We ended up with about 100 lbs of fish after they cleaned and filleted them. Mike and TJ are Nassau county raised fishermen. They know the area and where to catch fish. They didnโt take us out with shrimp or squid and have us drop line on the bottom to catch trash fish !!! Found my new charter for sure!!!!

We were originally unable to go out on our originally scheduled date due to weather. However, Captain Mike gave us options and were able to go out on an alternate day. The weather was still not ideal, but Captain Mike made sure that we were on the fish regardless of the conditions! I thoroughly recommend a fishing excursion with Captain Mike and Big Fin Charters and would definitely go out with them again!!!!
