Weekday Full Day 6 Hour • 2 adultsMy wife and I booked a trip with Big Bite Charters and Captain Andrew Hammond to celebrate our 47th wedding anniversary. We have been on several charter fishing trips in the past but this one was ABSOLUTELY the best we have ever been on. The trip started off good with the captain being at the dock early and ready to get to work. As with any Striper fishing trip we spent a few minutes tracking them down as they always roam around during the night but in no time Captain Andrew found them and had our rods in the water. Let the fun begin! I can't give enough praise for Capt. Andrew. He worked tirelessly keeping our rods baited and in the water for the entire trip. His knowledge, skill and experience is incredible. We not only had a great time catching fish but also an enjoyable, informative, and absolutely delightful time. His equipment is outstanding, clean and well maintained. SO... if you are looking for a awesome charter Big Bite Charters with Captain Andrew Hammond is the one to choose.

Weekday Pro Angler 7 Hours • 2 adults • 1 childIt was a cold cold morning. Bite just wasn’t there all day. We were marking tons of fish all day but just couldn’t get them to bite. Cap Andrew was on the fish. Just this this time of year all the striper just are all over the lake scattered and sometimes they’re hungry and sometimes they’re not. Tons of bait fish in the water and they were chasing them. Weird we fished with herring and rainbow trout. Fished all depths from 5 ft up to 80 ft. Worked ridges, deep channels, dead drops, brush piles and wherever we could find fish. Haha. Just a tough day on the water. But the prize striper came about 30 mins from pushing off the dock this morning. Fun day and learned a lot. Fantastic Guide!
