Captain Daniel and his crew were excellent to fish with. Initially Capt. Daniel helped us choose the best trip for this time of year, which was for Giant Tuna. We chose a 12 hour trip, and within the first 4 hours we were hooked up on a Giant Bluefin which measured 265cm and approximately 300kg or 650lbs. A true sea monster! Following this catch, I expressed my desire to try to hook up on stand up gear to provide an additional challenge. Capt. Daniel and his crew put us on the bait with sabikis and we loaded up fairly quickly. We tried to drift live bait on the stand up gear and although we did not get another bite the rest of the trip, we did have a fish close by that failed to eat, as well as other boats getting strikes bear us. Ultimately you can not go wrong fishing Pura Pesca. Their knowledge and expertise is unparalleled, and their 41ft boat is a joy to fish on.
