Our group of 4 guys headed out with Capt Gus & Mate Chuck on the Ditch Hag Sportfishing charter boat for a 6hr trip and could not ask for a better time! From the time we left the dock until we stepped foot back on land the service and fishing was excellent! We’ve decided to make this trip an annual trip and we’re excited for our next trip on Ditch Hag Sportfishing! Highly recommend!

We were all beginners except for one.  It was a family fishing outing.  We learned a lot about fishing season rules and signs to look for where fish may be biting. Captain Gus and first mate Dave knew where to troll and proper depths for lines.  They really wanted to us each to have the opportunity to reel in a fish and we all got to take some freshly filleted Rock Fish home. This was our first charter experience fishing in Maryland and decided to do a scouting trip with Capt Gus. My family, friend and I had a great time on the water hunting rockfish and doing some bottom fishing. The rockfish were elusive and not biting at all, and while Capt Gus was apologetic for not landing any, his energy chasing them was awesome. We went out on a family fishing trip and had a great time! Everyone caught a fish even the kids. We definitely recommend Captain Gus, he kept moving around to different locations. His mate was a great help as well always making sure everyone was in the right spot to avoid our rods from being tangled. We will only book with captain Gus from now on.

what a perfect day! we booked a trip to celebrate my son’s 22nd birthday and we had a blast!  these guys worked hard to make sure our experience was memorable!  they were super knowledgeable and taught us a lot about Rock fishing! there’s nothing better than bringing home fish fresh caught! 100% would go with these guys again!
