It was my pleasure introducing you and your 12 yr. old daughter to this wonderful sport of fly fishing! The excitement of seeing those hungry Largemouth Bass attacking our surface poppers is something that never gets old and is always heart stopping, especially right next to the boat like a couple times we witnessed. At the end of the day, while we briefly discussed future trips, your daughter said, “Next week” ! Her landing those beautiful Bass on her first trip is proof that age and gender play no part in fly fishing success, girls do as well as boys and often catch on even a little quicker. This actually holds just as true for men and women, this is not a strength sport but a timing and technique sport, and that’s what I specialize in. Teaching is so rewarding for me and is why I have done this for so many years, I look forward to our next trip!
