What a great experience. Capt. Marc was responsive and quick to commmnicate from the get-go. His years of experience really showed when everything that he said would happen, happened. “Might be slow at this time, will pick up around this time, fish will run this way, youll yet hits once they run this way” and like clock-work, it happened.

We were a family of 4 with a bonus kid and this trip was perfect. We even had a non-fisherman, and she still had a good time when given a bonus pop-tart and saw some fun marine life!

Even for skilled fisherman, Capt Marc gave some great tips and tricks for catching specific species like trout and redfish.

I’ve been on a lot of fishing charters across the country over the years, and after recently retiring from the military, I finally have more time to chase fish instead of deadlines. I can honestly say this trip with Capt. Marc ranks in my top two fishing charters anywhere in the U.S.

The trout apparently never got the memo that they were supposed to stay hidden, because we caught a bunch of them. The redfish, on the other hand, must have had a staff meeting and collectively decided to take the day off. We searched, we strategized, we negotiated, and the reds still weren’t interested in participating.

What really made the trip stand out was Capt. Marc. He was professional, knowledgeable, and knew exactly where to put us on fish. Just as important, he was great company. Some guides can either fish or talk, Capt. Marc can do both. The conversation was easy, the atmosphere was relaxed, and there was never a dull moment.

Fishing is fishing (you can’t make fish bite) but you can control preparation, effort, and customer experience. Capt. Marc nailed all three. If you’re looking for a captain who works hard, knows the water, and makes the trip enjoyable whether the fish cooperate or not, this is the charter to book.

We’ll just assume the redfish heard I was retired and decided they didn’t want to become my first post-retirement accomplishment.

Captain Marc had great communication prior to going out on the water.  He talked about how it was tough right now getting good quality live bait right now but he would do his best to put us on the fish. 
It was a tough day on the water fishing but captain Marc did put us on some good quality fish even though the conditions weren’t the best.  We moved around the water to many different spots. Being a fisherman all my life that what fishing is all about.  Some days are better than others. 
The boat was awesome, big and safe and clean. Captain Marc and his wife did a great job!  Thank you again.  I will be booking again very soon.

We had a great time out on the water with Captain Marc and Brandy Vrban. Even though we didn’t end up with any keepers this trip, the experience was still absolutely worth it. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the trip enjoyable from start to finish. We really appreciated getting to know them and spending time fishing with such good people. My wife, son, and I booked a 5-hour in-shore trip with Captain Marc and his wife Brandy. It was everything a day on the water should be. We were targeting redfish and they delivered — we landed plenty of perfect eating-size reds throughout the trip. (my wife wants to add, tgat she smiled and laughed continuously for 5 hours on the water with Captain Marc and Co-Captain Brandy; what a win-win!!)
But what truly set this experience apart was the boat and the operation behind it. Captain Marc’s boat was absolutely immaculate — and I don’t use that word lightly. You could tell immediately that this is someone who takes serious pride in their equipment. At cruising speed, the boat was so quiet I had to remind myself there was an engine running. We glided through the bays peacefully, which made the whole experience feel more like a retreat than a charter trip. That level of investment in their boat and gear says everything about how Captain Marc and his great wife Brandy run their business.
Speaking of which — Captain Marc and Brandy were incredible hosts. Easy to spend all day with, genuinely warm, and clearly passionate about what they do. They made our family feel completely at ease from the moment we stepped on board. My wife was able to kick back and relax, my son had a blast, and I was able to enjoy some of the best inshore fishing I’ve experienced.
When you fish with a guide, the condition of the boat matters more than most people realize. A pristine, well-maintained vessel creates an atmosphere of safety and confidence that lets you actually enjoy the trip. Captain Marc nails this.
