If you get sea sick revive the weeks sea conditions & try to book the calmest day as it can get rough. Also go for near shore not deep sea if you get sea sick as staying busy fishing helps lots.

This was our first trip to Punta Cana, so I wasn't sure what to expect. We were seeking more edible fish vs. the trophy fish. We landed 4 Mahi-Mahi and probably lost or didn't hook up quick enough on 6-8 other bits. The seas were rough in my opinion, with swells as big as 8-10' where you would actually dip down and lose site of land. Overall we caught fish and had a good experience with Marlin Fever and the crew.

Recently did a half-day with Captain Alex, which I highly recommend. The conditions that day were pretty rough (6+ft swells and chop) and Alex handled the boat perfectly, keeping us comfortable (and safe) while also doing everything he could to keep us on the fish. A+ experience all around that I would highly recommend. So much better than the big sportfishing charters.

Great fishing experience - exactly the inshore trip my son was looking for. He likes to actively cast so wanted this experience instead of trolling for larger sport fish. We had a bit of rain but Carlos kept us dry by motoring around the rain clouds until it cleared. My son caught 2 fish and was happy with the experience. Would definitely book again.

The captain and mate tried very hard. The fish just were not cooperating. We did hook a Marlin, but he broke off after 5 mins. The food and drink were great. They kept trolling until 5pm, when we were nearly back in. The Marlin made the day, even if it was brief. I would gladly go back out with them!

My fiance and I had a 4 hour charter with Captain Kevin and Guy. They were both super friendly and showed us a great time with drinks and fishing. We only managed to catch 2 fish but none of the other boats we talked to caught any that day so all in all we were satisfied. Guy even took us to a great restaurant afterwards to get our fish cleaned and cooked. The boat was also fantastic. Clean and well stocked. I would highly recommend this company based on our experience!

What a great experience on a day where the fish werenโt biting for many boats we landed 3 Mahi Mahi. Great service great positive attitudes especially the 1st 2.5 hours with no fish. Then it was bang bang bang 3 in a row. Highly recommend

Took my nephew out for his first deep sea fishing trip. Let me tell you these guys from Yustas and the ease of communication setting up the trip to the very important deck hand Andrew. Andrew was extremely helpful and experienced. His attitude and ability to connect with us and make us feel appreciated is a lost art. The Captain put us on to some nice fish and my nephew hooked up with a Bill Dorado.

Recently did a half-day with Captain Alex, which I highly recommend. The conditions that day were pretty rough (6+ft swells and chop) and Alex handled the boat perfectly, keeping us comfortable (and safe) while also doing everything he could to keep us on the fish. A+ experience all around that I would highly recommend. So much better than the big sportfishing charters.

When we went out for a 6 hour trip, the seas were very rough. Caught several fish but also got really sick (everyone). Not the crews fault. We stuck it out but weโre definitely ready to hit the beach again. Still recommend them to go fishing with.

We booked a 4 hour charter. Note that itโs a bottom fishing charter, which is fineโฆ just different if youโre expecting something else.
Captain made sure my 13yr old son learned how to fish and had fun. Was a great experience!!!

We had a few first time kids and somewhat rough seas, unfortunately sea sickness set in pretty quickly. The crew took care of everything and we still caught a few fish before heading back. No oneโs fault, they did their best.

Great fishing experience - exactly the inshore trip my son was looking for. He likes to actively cast so wanted this experience instead of trolling for larger sport fish. We had a bit of rain but Carlos kept us dry by motoring around the rain clouds until it cleared. My son caught 2 fish and was happy with the experience. Would definitely book again.

Our guide was great. Super nice guy, professional, and very helpful. Picked us up at our resort, did a good job getting us on some fish, and returned us to the resort and even helped with getting our resort to help prep some of our catch for lunch. I 100% recommend him.

The captain and mate tried very hard. The fish just were not cooperating. We did hook a Marlin, but he broke off after 5 mins. The food and drink were great. They kept trolling until 5pm, when we were nearly back in. The Marlin made the day, even if it was brief. I would gladly go back out with them!

My fiance and I had a 4 hour charter with Captain Kevin and Guy. They were both super friendly and showed us a great time with drinks and fishing. We only managed to catch 2 fish but none of the other boats we talked to caught any that day so all in all we were satisfied. Guy even took us to a great restaurant afterwards to get our fish cleaned and cooked. The boat was also fantastic. Clean and well stocked. I would highly recommend this company based on our experience!

It was a brilliant half day of fishing with Captain Alex. What a nice, knowledgeable guy. It was like I was fishing with a buddy back home in Canada. Caught many fish I have never scene before. We even had a double header of suckers (mine was the big one of course). Anyways thanks Alex for the half day next time weโll do a full day.
