Very surprised at how good the fishing was this trip. Having an experienced guide like Capt Kelly from Boogieman Charters is so important when fishing areas you are new too. We had so many slot fish that we had a great dinner for family and friends!

Take your camera and dress warm if you go fishing in February even if the temps reach into the 60's. The cooler water makes for a chilly ride . The wildlife was awesome. We saw dolphins and an amazing variety of birds including a bald eagle.

This was the first inshore trip me and my wife have ever taken. Patrick was awesome. I told him I wanted to catch a keeper flounder and he put me on it. We caught some good sea trout also. We will definitely be going again.

We’ve hired several guides through Fishing Booker. Captain Patrick is the best. We had two trips with him. His boat was clean. He had excellent equipment and the appropriate bait and lures. He worked diligently to get us on fish.
We caught trout, redfish and flounder. He is polite and had an excellent personality. You can’t go wrong booking with him.

Patrick took my grandson and I for a morning of fishing off St. Helena Island. After a slow first hour, Patrick moved to new locations where the reds were active. We had a great time pulling in big redfish. Patrick was excellent—friendly, knowledgeable, patient—and provided a memorable experience.

I’m not a fisher-person, but my 14 year old grandson LOVES fishing. I try to take each grandkid on a trip each year. This time, my 14 year grandson loves it, so that was our theme. We chose Beaufort for our adventure & had a spectacular fishing charter with Captain Patrick of BoogieMan Fishing Charters! I highly recommend this experience for fishers from novice to experienced!

We were a family of four fishing with two young sons. The first line in the water and 60 seconds later, my son reeled up a beautiful speckled trout. My son was so excited! The captain was very knowledgeable, super patient and helpful with our boys. He didn’t just put rods in their hands, he spent time teaching them along the way to help them become better fishermen. Took my two boys (8 & 11) on a four hour inshore charter with Captain Kelly and he knew where the fish were biting. Four hours was the perfect amount of time to try a few different locations and we all caught a variety of fish. Captain Kelly’s experience and knowledge of the estuary ecosystem was an added bonus. If you want fish, an appreciation for the SC estuaries, and some great memories; this is the charter for you.
