Michigan Smallmouth Bass Fishing Charters

Combo boat ride / fishing from Grand Haven Harbor to Lake Michigan. We depart from Chinook Pier towards Lake Michigan. You will get to see the Big Lake Lighthouse and even get to put a rod in to catch a fish. The fishing portion of this trip would target freshwater drum, pike, catfish, bass and species other than Salmon and Trout. Great for families. This quick 1-hour trip will let you see the harbor and lake and try your luck at catching various types of fish.

Half day trips with Ken are great for first-time fishermen and children. You'll go over the basic gear and knowledge that you'll need to hook your first fish. You'll fish the upper parts of the river for beauties like Brown Trout, Steelhead, Chinook, and Coho Salmon. Bring your fishing license with you, as well as drinks and snacks.

Targeting Smallmouth, Pike, Largemouth Bass, Trout, and anything else that bites! A favorite trip length and the best value! Use light tackle and gear specific for whatever species you're looking for. Snacks and drinks are included in the price. You can upgrade to a grilled lunch. Fishing options include the Muskegon River in Newaygo, the Tittabawassee River in Midland, and the Pine River in Alma. 6-hour trip. The season is from March to November.

We will be going out to the most productive fishing areas on Lake St. Clair. The lake has multiple species of fish, and you'll never know what you're gonna catch. The fish range from Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Pike, Perch, and many others. We will be fishing out of a 2022 Lund boat and using top-of-the-line fishing gear.

On this light tackle/hands-on fishing trip, we'll be cruising around the beautiful Grand Traverse Bay looking for lake trout & cisco. In May and June we look towards the shoreline and shallow reefs holding fish by casting and retrieving jigs or blade baits back to the boat. Then once the water warms, fish will then push put to deep water/reefs for the remainder of summer. At that point we will begin our vertical jigging charters and what a riot this tactic is!

This trip is for an evening or morning of walleye fishing on Long Lake which is on the West Side of Traverse City. This is one of the best Walleye lakes in the area and it is full of great eating size walleye. This is all rod in hand fishing that utilizes forward facing sonar (livescope) in order to ensure things are always engaging. Depending on the time of year, some great smallmouth or perch fishing can be had on these trips as well.

Fishing inland lakes for sport fish and panfish. You can spend your time trolling, casting and jigging depending on the species and season you would like to target. This is the perfect option for a group that just wants to get out on the water and enjoy everything Grand Haven has to offer. Fishing tours will allow time to enjoy a tour of the harbor including Lake Michigan and the lighthouse all while trolling for multiple species of freshwater fish. This is great for families with young kids who may not enjoy the longer salmon fishing trip or could possibly get seasick on the big lake. Depending on the season your captain will determine the best area to fish.
