Topsail Beach Black Drum Fishing Charters

These fully customizable trips are for experienced kayak fishermen who want to get offshore, or to more remote inshore locations. Kayaks and fishing gear NOT provided. Minimum 4 hour trip, but we can add time if you wish. Call for details and and we can work out an amazing fishing adventure!

You and the captain will be fishing shallow water areas. You'll fish on light tackle and use both artificial bait and live bait. Sight fishing is a delicacy as it's exciting to see the fish in the water before it takes a bite!

An inshore/nearshore trip targeting a variety of species such as redfish, flounder, trout, striper, black drum, sheepshead, and spanish mackerel. Captain Pierre provides all the gear necessary for the trip!

If your party is larger than 3 adults please contact prior to booking. Thank you We will be covering the area coastal marsh flats for redfish to nearshore locations. You can go after Black Drum, Trout, Flounder and more (within legal seasons etc). If you're lucky you might end up bagging Sheepshead. Trips are priced 1-3 people. It is an additional $50 per person. (TIME IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE). A trip lasting for 4 hours.

Spring is upon us and you will be targeting inshore species such as Red Drum, Speckled Trout, and Flounder in and around the Topsail Island area. Options include using artificial lures, live bait, and cut bait. The captain typically uses a combination based on the circumstances and your preference. This is the time of year when the water and the fishing starts heating up! This is also a great trip for the kids!!

Great for families and first-time anglers! Stays within sight of land and target Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, False Albacore and King Mackerel.
