Costa Rica is blessed with some of the best fishing in the world. While made famous by its offshore fishing based out of the port of Flamingo, Costa Rica also offers some of the most exciting inshore fishing in the world. On our half day inshore trips we angle for Mahi Mahi, Cubera Snapper, Yellowfin Tuna, Jack Crevalle, and the pride of Costa Rica waters, the Roosterfish (a great fighting fish that will leave your arms tired and a smile on your face).

Get on the water bright and early and take advantage of some hot morning action. This is the perfect trip for anglers looking for an introduction to the local fishery. Captain Mauricio is offering transport to clients in a 20km radius included in the price. Optional snorkeling included. Targeted species can be Kingfish, Barracuda, Snapper, Jack Crevalle, and more.

Cruise along the coastline and visit some of the richest inshore spots in the area. You'll have the opportunity to target species like Mahi Mahi, Roosterfish, Snapper, and more! Have fun battling these feisty fish and test your skills as you try to catch yourself a nice dinner. Lunch is NOT provided on this trip.

Spend part of your day catching Roosterfish, Mahi, and Snapper, and be back at the pool to cool off and enjoy Pura Vide. Snacks and beverages are included in the trip, as are fishing gear,and catch cleaning and filleting.

You will be fishing out of Tamarindo. The experienced crew will adjust location and fishing technique depending on your wishes for targeted species and where the bait currently is. An earlier start is possible, to make sure you get that morning bite!

On this 5 hour trip, fishing starts right off the new Marina in Playa Flamingo area. Depending on fishing and seasonal conditions, you'll head for the known hotspots trying different techniques like trolling, as well as bottom fishing for Grouper and some tasty Snapper. Other target species include Roosterfish, Wahoo, Tuna, Amberjack, Sailfish, and Jack Crevalle. Make sure to bring some sun protection and get excited about this Costa Rican fishing adventure!
