Wanchese Cobia Fishing Charters

On this 6-hour trip, you'll go out to no more than 5 miles in the ocean, which will depend on the weather. You'll head out to catch Amberjack, Triggerfish King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, and other ones that swim around. You'll have more time for fishing, gear on board, and a professional crew.

The 3/4 day is a six-hour trip that gives you more time to hunt on the water without taking up the whole day and may include inshore live bait fishing for Sharks, sight fishing for Cobia, or bottom fishing nearshore wrecks where Triggerfish and Seabass hide depending on what's happening that time of year.

This trip we will be in the ocean sight casting for cobia they are big brown fish that get up to 120 pounds very fun to catch.

Let send it out 12 to 28 miles out and chase some mahi on light tackle jiging or trolling. We can alway stop at the tower to catch amber jacks. You never know what you will catch out here trolling. Lets go Catching

This nearshore trip allows us to fish for a variety of fish farther from the inlet. You will be looking for Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Amberjack, False Albacore, and Cobia. This trip is a great way to relax and fish all day without having to leave the dock early in the morning. If you are targeting Cobia, this is a recommended trip. Seasonal.

Morning trips leave the dock at 8:00 AM and return at 2:00 PM. This trip is a great option if you'd like to go on an extended trip but not spend an entire day out on the water. We will have an action packed 6 hours of catching all kinds of fish from flounder, drum, spanish, blue fish and more. If we are lucky we occasionally also catch a glimpse of the local dolphins as they pass through.

We will start the morning catching bait. Then take a one-hour ride to the tower to start catching amber jacks. These guys pull like donkeys! It is a really good fight. With the remaining time we will troll closer to the inlet to completely fill that fish box!
