Port Douglas Coral Trout Fishing Charters

Get some mates together for a full day inshore fishing reefs, wrecks, and islands. You'll be targeting the likes of Trevally, Coral Trout, Mackerel, Cobia and more. The captain will provide all the fishing equipment, just bring some sunscreen, and come enjoy your day in these productive fishing grounds!

Fishing the coastal reefs, Shawry will share with you some tips and tricks he has learned form over 20 years in the local commercial and charter industry. Using a range of techniques we will be targeting Coral Trout, Sweetlip, Fingermark, Cod and more..

Spend your morning fishing the local waters. This trip accommodates a maximum of 5 guests and will fish the reef and/or the estuary depending on the conditions. You'll target Queenfish, Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, and many more – it all depends on which techniques you're using and which fishing spots you're visiting. Catch bled and bagged.

Jump aboard MV 'White Cloud' for the reel deal fishing charter, locally owned and operated by experienced fisherman and reef charter operator Flynn Bickford and local crew they will get you to the fish on the outer reef system with 60 mins. The White Cloud is built for fishing for small groups with the comforts of a larger vessel like toilet, cabin and shade, so perfect for family groups. All inclusive charter just bring a smile long sleeve shirt and sun protection. 8:00 -3:30pm 7.5hrs

A maximum of 8 guests. Minimum age 10yo. All equipment, tackle, and bait are supplied. Experienced skipper/owner with 30 years local experience. Departing Port Douglas at 7.30am and returning at 11.30am. Catch is bled and bagged. CONDITIONS # Private charters are to be paid in full by 7 days before departure date. # The operator reserves the right to transfer the trip to calm water options, including estuary, in the event weather conditions prevent accessing the coastal reefs.

This is an inshore reef and wonky hole adventure depending on the season. You can catch big Largemouth Nannygai, Coral Trout, Grassy Emperor, and many more! Please note 4pax maximum for this adventure Please note we do charge a 10 percent surcharge on public holidays.(Please note as of march 27 2026 we will be adding a 10 percent fuel levy to all tours ..This will remain temporary until fuel prices settle back down)

A maximum of 8 guests with minimum age of 12. All equipment, tackle, and bait are supplied. Experienced skipper/owner with 30 years of local experience. Departing Yorkeys Knob Marina (Cairns northern beaches) at 7.30 a.m. and returning at 3.30 p.m. Catch is bled and bagged.

We'll pick you up at 7am from your accommodation in Port Douglas or meet a nearby ramp. We will fish the coastal flats and local rivers for Barramundi and Mangrove Jack. These trips are Lure or fly fishing only and catch and release. Snacks, drinks and use of all gear is included for the trip.

Inshore jigging and soft plastics for Coral Trout and large mouth Mannygai, along with reef flats casting and trolling for Spanish Mackerel.
