Ucluelet Crab Fishing Charters

This 6 hour is our recommendation for winter fishing trips (Nov- Feb). Drop the crab traps before Embarking on an hour long cruise across to the protected waters of Barkley Sound. Journey down amongst The Broken Group Islands to the sheltered winter fishing grounds from Sechart Channel to Swale Rock. Set the Prawn traps and drop the lines for Chinook (King) Salmon. End the day by pulling the Prawn and Crab traps before we're harbour bound. *Start time flexible. License, gratuity, 5% GST not inc*

The duration of these trips is 8–10 hours. They allow you to travel where the fish are, whether it be inshore or offshore. Usually, you'll have the time to target both Salmon and Halibut, as well as bottom fish.

Its a regular day of fishing out on the west coast. Loads of fish to catch Fun times

It doesn't offer plenty of time to do the most we can, but in the past, we have been able to tub out on Salmon, Rockfish, and Lingcod in 4 hours for 2-3 people. We'll stay inshore and close, so we can do all the fishing we can within that time frame. We can target everything during this time or specific species, depending on what you want.

Salmon , Halibut lingcod prawns, it's all good. weather depending. we will catch some fish and have some fun !

Our full-day fishing trips leave at first light from the Small Crafts Harbour in Ucluelet, BC. This trip includes everything you need to have a fun and safe experience on the water. Our chosen fishing destination for the day will be determined by the weather, time of season, and our targeted fish species. (Max 4 people. 5:30am-6:30am departures)

Spend a morning plying The Pacific Rim's inshore waters or middle banks. Depending on conditions, timing, expected productivity, and group preference, this trip offers options: Fish along the coastline and amongst the islands for Salmon, Ling, and Rockfish, or troll the inner banks targeting Chinook and a chance at Halibut. This charter allows you to travel further when beneficial and spends significantly more time fishing than on the 4-hour trip. *license, gratuity, 5% tax not included*

Two separate trips available. #1 Salmon and or cod. #2 Prawn,shrip and crab.

In this half day trip we will troll for Salmon, jig for Lingcod and Rockfish or anchor for Halibut depending on the guests requests and weather conditions. With inshore and offshore fishing so close to the harbour, we have a lot of flexibility in creating the fishing adventure that you are looking for.

Enjoy fishing on the west coast of Vancouver Island in beautiful remote areas accessible only by boat. We provide all the rods, reels, tackle, and lures from some of the best brands in the industry, as well as life jackets, drinks and snacks. We also provide catch cleaning, but flash freezing and packaging is done by our friends at Ukee Seafood (not included in trip cost). Fishing license must be purchased in advance.
