Chester Crab Fishing Charters

A quick trip on the Chesapeake Bay is still plenty of time to get some great fishing done. Your main target will be Striped Bass, but you can also count on Bluefish to be present.

This 6-hour morning trip will take you fishing the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries. Get ready for some Striped Bass, White Perch, and Bluefish!

This is a 6-hour long fishing trip for Striped Bass, Redfish, Black Drum, Bluefish, Cobia, Crabs, White Perch, Spanish Mackerel, and Whiting. May-mid august striped bass, white perch late august-mid September cobia, red drum , bluefish , spanish mackerel

Come spend an afternoon with us catching beautiful Maryland blue crabs! We will be trotlining and hand dipping your own crabs. An absolute blast for all ages!

Catch your own crabs and we can even cook them on the boat for you, or pack them if you pack them if you wish to take them home! The departure time may vary, and the captain will let you know once you book!

This trip can be customized to meet your specific needs. You will be able to go crabbing or fishing for Striped Bass, Bluefish, Seatrout, and a variety of other species in the Chesapeake Bay. Mate works for tips (20% customary). The charter leaves from different spots in the local area.

The Mallard will leave the dock around 6:00 a.m. for 6 hours of charter fishing. Your charter will take you out into the waters of the beautiful Chesapeake Bay targeting Rockfish (Striper/Striped Bass) by trolling, live-lining, chumming, and bottom fishing. You will return to the dock around 12:00 p.m. Light snacks and bottled water are provided. NOTE: 20% gratuity for the mate is customary and not included in the price of the charter. Departure and return times may vary.

4-person weekday trotline crabbing trip. 1 hour before sunrise to 4 hours after .

This is a crabbing trip only. We will be trot lining for blue crab in our local waters. You and your party will take turns dipping the crabs as they come up from the bottom. You get to keep whatever you catch.

Enjoy a morning trip out catching the World Renowned Maryland Blue Crab. We will be setting out a 1200’ troutline and running it. You will be catching the Crabs with a net as we run along the troutline. We will be able to keep up to two(2) bushels of male crabs
