Assawoman Bay Flounder Fishing Charters

This will be 5 to 6 hours of fishing nearshore within 15 miles of the beach. This is mostly a catch and release Shark trip along with bottom fishing for Flounder. A trip of this kind could target anything as far as Cobia, Bluefish, Red Drum (late in the season), and any other species that will be in the area's nearshore waters. This is a great family trip. A fuel surcharge may apply if diesel fuel is higher than $4 per gallon at the OC Fishing Center on the day of your trip.

Head into the wrecks and see what fish come your way! You'll spend the full day targeting Flounder, Seabass, and much more with gear provided by Capt. Dave. Be sure to bring along enough drinks and snacks to get you through the day and don't forget the sunscreen either!

The waters off OC, MD are home to many natural and artificial reef sites. These sites are excellent spots to spend the morning or afternoon fishing. Multiple fish species call these areas home. Old wooden ships, retired military vehicles, subway cars and discarded concrete rubble make up a majority of these reef sites. Black Seabass, Flounder, Tog, Scup, Lingcod, Weakfish, Triggerfish, Spadefish and Cobia are just some of the residents. You just never know what will bite.

Inshore has lots to offer from bluefish, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Mahi, False Albacore, and many species of sharks. Typically a short run to the fishing grounds gives you plenty of fishing time. This is another very kid friendly type of fishing. Up to 4 people

The waters off of Ocean City offer great action for Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna. This season the charter is allowed to harvest a total of 4 Bluefin tuna. All boats are allowed at least 2 Yellowfin per angler. These trips are 12 hours from dock to dock.

If you're up for exploring the waters of Maryland for the whole day, this is the trip to book. You'll spend 8 hours enjoying some great fishing with Captain Jeff, targeting Flounder, Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Bluefish. All the fishing equipment will be provided, just bring some snacks and drinks, and you're all set!

Bowfishing for Houndfish, Cownosed Ray, Southern Rays, Butterfly Rays, Bluefish, Flounder, Bunker, and more. Your fishing equipment is fully covered, so you just need to bring your snacks and drinks.

Trolling for King Mackerel or Seabass/Flounder bottom fishing.

For this trip, we are combining the back bay trip with near shore fishing. We will be fishing the shoals just off the beaches of Ocean City and all around the back bay, the bridges, and the jetties at the inlet. Inshore has lots to offer because we have more flexibility with these trips. We can move around and fish the tides as needed, and if it’s too windy, we don’t have to cancel… We will just spend more time in the back bay area. We can accommodate a total of 6 passengers. Great for kids!
