The 10-hour trip will see you spending a full day on the water, and is the best way to truly experience the Claoyoquot Sound! If you're an avid angler, you can spend the entire time targeting many species – usually, you'll split your time targeting Salmon (Coho and Chinook) during the slack tides, before switching to Halibut, Lingcod, and Rockfish for the remainder. Get a taste of what this fishery is all about! Rods, reels, lures, and tackle are included. Just bring a valid fishing license.

A little more time on the water gives you a greater range and broader scope of fishing locations. Go after one species or multiple different fish if retention limits are not the objective. These waters are home to Lingcod, two types of Salmon, Rockfish, Halibut, and many more delicious creatures, so there'll be no shortage of rewards after you fill the boat with these creatures. On this trip, you will travel up to 20 miles offshore in search of massive Halibut, Lingcod, Sablefish, Rockfish, and Cabazon. There will be plenty of white meat fish to eat after this trip, the captain assures you! A 5% GST tax is extra and is to be paid to the captain.

Fish the rockline for Chinook, Lingcod, and Rockfish, or head out offshore to drop the gear for Halibut on the banks. This charter boat is built to fish larger groups of anglers. It features seating for up to 8 adults inside a heated cab along with exterior seating on a big beamy back deck for those who like to be right in the action. 5% GST, gratuity, and fishing license not included.

This is an early season special. We will be fishing the coastline for salmon and taking in the beauty of the rugged shoreline. Part way through the day we will drop the gear down and be fishing for lings, rockfish and halibut.

Prime time fishing has come and gone. If you expect buckets of fish, this is not the trip for you. Rain drives everything in the PNW and during these times of year, fishing is very weather dependent and there aren't a lot of fish around to be caught, to do their annual migration. This is a great way to experience the Barkley sound and surrounding areas, get out on the water and get your line wet to see what's biting. Anything and everything can be caught but weather and regulations dictate everything

This full 10-hour day of fishing is the best way to capitalize on your time in Tofino. Fish multiple species to help fill your freezer for winter. You and the captain can drop Crab or prawn traps on your way out to the open ocean. Then, depending on tides, you can work on catching some scrappy exhilarating Chinook Salmon or wrestle some large Halibut or Lingcod from the depths. Whatever you like, the captain can personalize your adventure.
