Oceanside Halibut Fishing Charters

Great for beginners to seasoned vets! Half day trips are typically lots of action and very fun quick trips. Usually fishing Calico/Sand Bass or Rockcod. Occasionally catch Yellowtail, White Seabass, and Halibut.

The waters of Dana Point are perfect for half day fishing adventures. Captain Corey and his crew will take you to the fish and also narrate the coast and surrounding areas. Expect to encounter species such as California Sheepshead, Barracuda, Mahi Mahi, Cod, Halibut, Rockfish, and more. Rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price of the trip. Departure times are flexible.

Shorter trips are a lot of fun for the whole family. With targets like Rockfish and Calico Bass, you're angling for a very delicious dinner. This s customer favorite starter trip. It gives more opportunity to catch different types of fish. We are the only charter boat in San Diego county with the SeaKeeper Gyro which takes 90% of the left and right roll out of the boat for a smooth ride.

This trip will have you fish the local spots for Calicos, Barracuda, Bonito, Rockfish, and a shot at exotic species such as Yellowtail, Halibut, and White Seabass. Departure time can be flexible.

Target local game fish in the nearshore and offshore waters. Go after Mahi Mahi, Lingcod, Rockfish, Barracuda, and more. The crew will prepare your fishing equipment, snacks, and drinks, but feel free to bring your own. You can keep the catch afterward and the crew will fillet it for you.

We fish outside the point on our local kelp beds or reef for rockfish, sheephead, lingcod, and calico bass. Or in the bay, fishing for halibut and sand bass.

Lobster hooping and fishing combo trip. Guests can enjoy a afternoon of coastal fishing then, as darkness approaches we switch gears to hoopnet for lobster. 10 hoops are used per california regulations. Full galley…There is a 200.00 galley minimum and no alcohol is allowed to be brought aboard.

We will set our heading to Avalon on Catalina Island! Enjoy a fun and exciting day trip to Avalon and experience the local shops, restaurants, and the breathtaking views of Catalina Island. With an hour and a half crossing to the Island, we will be covering plenty of good water and can find good fishing along the way! This trip is very unique as its a day of fun on the water and at Catalina Island. Ice, waters, tackle, and fish cleaning is included. Please bring a California fishing license.
