Central Coast Halibut Fishing Charters

Head out for a full-day of fishing with Sole-Man on the bay and ocean waters of San Francisco. You will target species such as Salmon, Halibut, Rockfish, Sturgeon, and Shark. Trips include high-quality fishing equipment and lures, live bait, and drinks (water, coffee and tea), while the crew are happy to process your catch to your specifications.

Half day trips available for all bay species, such as Rockfish, Salmon, Halibut, and many others. Ocean trips are also available.

Fish the bay for Striped Bass, Halibut, and Shark, all within 10 minutes of shore. All of your rods and reels for the day are provided. Live bait is prepared in advance for you so no precious fishing time is wasted. You are welcome to bring along food and drink. Please buy a fishing license before the trip.

We will fish for rockfish/LingCod/dungeoness crab

You and the captain will depart out of the Santa Cruz Harbor and target the species of your preference depending on seasons. This will be Salmon, Halibut, Rockfish, Lingcod, or Sand Dabs/Sole. Spend the whole day on the water, mainly targeting Halibut and Striped Bass. Let the captain know if you want to book the whole boat or you're going to share it with other anglers. All fishing equipment is included in the price. 4 people minimum to run, trip will be rescheduled if not enough people or bad weather.

Fishing in SF bay and coastal areas targeting Halibut and Striped Bass with live bait. On these potluck trips we often encounter white sea bass, leopard shark and others. All bait, tackle, and fishing gear included. LIVE BAIT INCLUDED when available. Take Limit 2 Halibut and 2 Striped Bass per person.

Well start the day catching some live bait that we will use to entice the famous California Halibut to chomp on. We will be using several different techniques to catch these fish including drifting, trolling, amd live bait fishing.

We will be surf-angling and targeting Perch, Striped Bass, and Halibut. This trip offers and unique fishing experience for anglers looking to try a new style or simply would like a challenge. While surf angling can be a challenge, there are various styles that make it enjoyable for all ages! We will be applying techniques that have been tried and true locally, as well as using local tackle designed especially for the style and region.

Local nearshore or deep reef fishing, depending on the weather. Techniques can include jigging, drifting live bait, or bounce balling. Rockfish are abundant in a variety of species and sizes. Lingcod are aggressive predators, which can be jaw-droppers when they surface. Halibut are notorious for big head shakes and their delicious meat. This trip is a great way to experience the variety of fish in our local waters. This trip is seasonal.
