Northern California Halibut Fishing Charters

Head out for a full-day of fishing with Sole-Man on the bay and ocean waters of San Francisco. You will target species such as Salmon, Halibut, Rockfish, Sturgeon, and Shark. Trips include high-quality fishing equipment and lures, live bait, and drinks (water, coffee and tea), while the crew are happy to process your catch to your specifications.

Half day trips available for all bay species, such as Rockfish, Salmon, Halibut, and many others. Ocean trips are also available.

If you've been dreaming of hooking one of these prized beasts and are anxious to see if you've got what it takes to land a trophy specimen, this is the perfect trip for you.

Depending on the season and the weather, you will be chasing fish inside or outside of the Golden Gate Bridge. For food or fun it is always an adventure. Targeted species include Striped Bass, Salmon, Halibut, Skate, Ray, Rockfish, Crab, and more.

This trip is customized based on your interests. Price includes bait and ice. Rods can be provided. Trolling weights cost $7-8 or you can bring your own. You'll typically target Salmon but there are other fishing opportunities depending on the time of year. 3 person minimum

Your choice of Halibut or Striped Bass is waiting for you should you choose to rise early for this morning trip. This trip is perfect for kids as it's a little bit less time on the water, meaning that they won't get bored of hopping around the bodies of water. Instead, a short, focused, amount of time can help them bring out a passion for reeling the fish in.

Spend the whole day on the water, mainly targeting Halibut and Striped Bass. Let the captain know if you want to book the whole boat or you're going to share it with other anglers. All fishing equipment is included in the price. 4 people minimum to run, trip will be rescheduled if not enough people or bad weather.

Fishing in SF bay and coastal areas targeting Halibut and Striped Bass with live bait. On these potluck trips we often encounter white sea bass, leopard shark and others. All bait, tackle, and fishing gear included. LIVE BAIT INCLUDED when available. Take Limit 2 Halibut and 2 Striped Bass per person.

This is a potluck trip which means we can catch a variety of species. Our primary target for this trip will be Halibut and Striped Bass. We are currently doing a combination of trolling and drifting depending on conditions. It is not uncommon to catch multiple species of sharks, sting rays, and guitar fish. This trip will occur within SF Bay typically within site of Alcatraz Island, Angel Island, the Golden Gate Bridge and beyond. Our range varies but can cover a lot of territory on a normal trip
