Northern California Halibut Fishing Charters

Depending on the season and the weather, you will be chasing fish inside or outside of the Golden Gate Bridge. For food or fun it is always an adventure. Targeted species include Striped Bass, Salmon, Halibut, Skate, Ray, Rockfish, Crab, and more.

Fish the bay for Striped Bass, Halibut, and Shark, all within 10 minutes of shore. All of your rods and reels for the day are provided. Live bait is prepared in advance for you so no precious fishing time is wasted. You are welcome to bring along food and drink. Please buy a fishing license before the trip.

Fishing in SF bay and coastal areas targeting Halibut and Striped Bass with live bait. On these potluck trips we often encounter white sea bass, leopard shark and others. All bait, tackle, and fishing gear included. LIVE BAIT INCLUDED when available. Take Limit 2 Halibut and 2 Striped Bass per person.

A 5-hour fishing trip starting at 6:00 a.m. and finishing at 11:30 a.m. You and the captain will be fishing in the bay and nearshore. The trip offers a great opportunity to experience fishing both for beginners and experienced fishermen.

All half day trips are bay trips and are captain choice!!

I fish all over the San Francisco Bay, depending on conditions. If the conditions indicate that we should go outside the gate to catch fish, that's what we'll do.

Half day Halibut and Striped Bass Combo

We will be trolling for halibut in the San Francisco Bay. Sometimes we have the opportunity to catch striped bass, sharks, and rays as well, however halibut is the main target. The best months are April through August.

We will be Targeting Halibut ...and often we catch a lot of species of Striped Bass Sharks and Sting Rays ...fishing the waters in San Francisco Bay with the views of the Golden Gate and Bay Bridge ..Alcatraz Island area
